Founder of Timely India & Navjagran — building high-trust media in India
Subhash Yadav
Background

The Story So Far

I build systems that move information clearly. Mostly through media companies, sometimes through code.

Origin

The Newsroom Floor

I started in traditional journalism, covering the chaotic intersection of policy and education. I learned quickly that the bottleneck wasn't a lack of information, but a lack of clarity. The internet didn't need more noise; it needed better filters.

Build

Timely India

Frustrated by legacy business models, I left to build Timely India. We started as a newsletter and grew into a platform reaching millions of students and young professionals. We didn't optimize for clicks; we optimized for trust. That became our competitive advantage.

Scale

Scaling Trust

By 2024, Timely India crossed 10 million monthly readers — without a single rupee spent on performance marketing. The proof: good editorial is the best growth strategy. I focused on the operational challenges of running an independent media company, writing about the lessons and speaking at media summits across India.

Now

Navjagran

On July 22, 2026, I launched Navjagran (Navjagran.in) — a new digital news platform that extends the same principles of high-trust journalism to broader news coverage. Two platforms, one mission: information that people can actually rely on.
