India’s Export Data In February 2024: India’s exports increased by 11.9 percent to USD 41.4 billion in February, the highest level in the current fiscal year, while the trade deficit stood at USD 18.7 billion, according to data released by the commerce ministry.
Imports were valued at USD 60.1 billion, up 12.16 percent from USD 53.58 billion in February 2023. Exports in February 2023 totaled USD 37.01 billion.
Commerce Secretary Sunil Barthwal told reporters that export growth in February was the highest in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year.
He also expressed confidence that overall exports during fiscal 2023-24 would be higher than last year’s record exports.
